Registration opened on January 19, 2026 and will remain open until all spots are filled.

DO NOT SWITCH OR GIVE AWAY YOUR NUMBER. If you cover or alter your running number, sell it or give it away, you will be disqualified and rejected from future Canada Day Distance Classic races.

All races start at 7:30 AM across all five locations (Toronto, Ottawa, Vancouver, Montreal, and Calgary).

The race is scheduled for Tuesday, July 1, 2026 (Canada Day).

Parking is available near the start line. We encourage participants to cycle, use public transit, or carpool to reduce traffic congestion.

You will have up to 1 hour and 40 minutes to complete the 10K race course. This is not a walking event. If you are unable to complete 10K in that time, we suggest you consider other running events that better suit your pace.

Strollers and pets/dogs are not permitted on the race course for safety reasons.

Headphones are allowed, but we ask that you keep the volume low and pay attention to your surroundings, race officials, and other participants.

Yes! There are 2 water stations along the 10K course, as well as plenty of water available before and after the race.

Bib pickup is available on race morning starting at 6:00 AM at the race central area for each city location.

Please have a device with your confirmation email ready to show race staff/volunteers. Your confirmation email contains your bib number.

Bib pickup will be organized by number ranges (0-99, 100-199, 200-299, etc.) to allow for easy and efficient pickup.

All entries are non-refundable, non-deferrable, and non-transferable.

You must be at least 12 years old on or by race day in order to participate in the Canada Day Distance Classic.

All registered participants receive a race t-shirt and a finisher medal. Race awards are also available for top finishers in various categories.

The race will proceed rain or shine. In the event of severe weather conditions (lightning, extreme heat warnings, etc.), race organizers reserve the right to delay, modify, or cancel the race for participant safety.
